As predicted in my last post, I was given one point for my attendance. I contacted the person I was supposed to contact but was then directed to someone else.

 So basically, the person was telling me he only had me marked down for one hour. I knew I was there for more than one hour and I proceeded to prove that. They then said they’d give me the point.

But not in the “Oh my goodness, you’re right way”

But in the “Okay, I’ll give it to you, no problem”.

I don’t know, me as a person–I want you to see that I was right. I don’t want a handout so you can avoid a conversation. Needless to say, I did not accept the point.

But I did decide to go sky farming today, hopefully to prove that I am dedicated to at least try.

We missed Despot but got Faust and Zip and popped Olla. Yet on my way to Faust with Mephiston , I got lost. It seemed like no one besides Meph and one other member of the Linkshell I’ve been talking to understood I did not know the way. I received orders like “Take the yellow gate to xyz” in /tells…and I had to say, with embarrassment, I had no idea what they were talking about.

I don’t have a map.

I can’t begin to even comprehend the maps I see online.

But we eventually got there and destroyed Faust so I guess it wasn’t so bad.

Just to be careful I popped a silent oil as we ran to raise the dead. I received a tell from Mephiston:

“Don’t need sneak here, no weapons “

And also received a tell from another member

“You do not need sneak in here. Only thing that agros here is Faust. And he’s dead.”

Harmless right?

Then why do I feel like tossing my pearl?

It could be a personal vice. I hate not knowing things. I hate having to rely on others. Meph telling me something like that is okay, I know him, I know he doesn’t think ill of me. This random person in the linkshell? I must have come off like a complete idiot. It bugs me!

Ah well..I’ve lost the desire to write more on the topic. I was talking to Meph to vent but he was crashing…which then annoyed me…so I just said screw it.
