Not quite alive either!

New job. Dreading school.

I’m 22 next week.

Final Fantasy wise?

50 Summoner (Fenrir-less and Diabolos-less) which I am duoing with Mephiston’s Ninja. We’ve stopped momentarily so we can make some money, fight some avatars and get gear so that we can keep on trucking till 75.

Can’t wait for 75! Maybe I’ll get a Ying Yang Robe….next year of course! lol.

“Real life” wise though…just been entering argument after argument. My father made the comment that I’m like Alexander the Great: I’m not happy unless I’m fighting and I’mconstantly looking for the next conquest.

I really do trust too easily. I’ve said it before but after a recent skirmish with people, who include my parents, I just can’t bring myself to do it.

Not that I’m going to stop trusting my parents…

But I just need to stop expecting the best from people. Stop expecting their support, their supposed care and understanding. A lot of them hope to make me feel like I don’t matter…when I know I do…that I’m wrong for feeling the way I do, that I don’t have a right to feel the way I do because they can’t understand.

Life…can get real complicated sometimes.

But of course, you all know what I’m talking about . You lead lives too!

So, having come back from Brazil and suffering from FFXI withdrawal, I jumped right back in!

With moderation of course.

During this “moderate” reintroduction to FFXI, I hung out with Garcian a lot and found out he’s a pretty cool guy. We spent about 30 minutes watching TaruSoDelicious fighting Tiamat…that’s how cool we are!

I want to fight her one day…

Seriously, it took like 20 minutes for it to go down 5%. I can’t wait to fight these things

Meph went on a…”Rush for Sea” thing…and of course I was dragged along for the ride.

I don’t even remember when this all started. I don’t have many pics of us ON THE WAY…but…just to give you an idea of what happened…

Surf’s up in SEA!

The funniest thing is, we didn’t even do this with a Static! Just random people from HopeFromAsh, and other people who just answered to our desperate shouts.

Vahzl was flawless. I went as BLM and happened to take down quite a few of the bosses on the last few floors when the rest of the party wiped. The actual BCNM was so frightening. It was our dry run. The first two were killed without a problem. The last one managed to get us when we were all low on health…but we reraised and had the SAM and Meph, as BLU, kiting it for about 5 minutes.

Victory–

The three paths? Wow. Snoll went down without much fight (Thank you, Garcian, uber tank you!), Mithras made us laugh (ES + Sleepga and Astral Flow will do that to you), Moblins killed us the first try, but then they also went down.

The random NMs were interesting…and quickly disposed of.

The Airship fight?

9 attempts. But it was all worth it. Setup? BRD, WHM [who couldn't do their job], NIN, COR [later changed to uber BLU], DRG, RNG. The poor RNG kept dying in the wrong place [go, go, language barrier!] but eventually we got it down.

On our winning run, we killed the mammets in 4 minutes, Omega in 7…without a wipe…and the rest of the time was dedicated to Ultima.

Wiped at Ultima when we got it to 7%, took our time raising, getting the courage to go back in…ran in…

Holy for the win at 1%!

Tenzen was a failure the first two times [when we say 2-hour at start, we mean 2-hour at START people!!! Thank you for helping, Garcian ]…but then with the set up of BLM, BLM, DRK, SAM, BRD, BST, we murdered him! [Thank you Tadieal and the friends of Tadieal that made it possible! <3]

And then..with Tadieal and his BLM friend, Jernau…

We saw some strange things..in SEA!

Like a squid family. That they promptly blew up.

Ufos..that killed everyone except Meph >.>

And of course, Meph cried that nothing was charmable, but he fought with his crab friend anyway!

With Sea access we then did our first Limbus the very next day! It was lame, short, and there was much death…and I got a Beastcoin out of it. Hurray~

That has been my adventure in the last two weeks people. I also achieved Level 52 BST [Ardeth has taken a bit of break from the game so I am flying solo]. And Garcian, awesome guy that he is, made this gift…probably making fun of my tendency to disconnect every 3-4 hours:

I know this is late, but I’m finally back from Brazil!

The flight was originally scheduled to arrive around 8 AM on Sunday, but due to a mishap (Flight from Rio to Sao Paulo getting delayed, being put on another service, then being late to our flight from Sao Paulo) we had to take another flight.

Of course, the airline but us in a ritzy hotel for like 5 hours due to this madness, but still, it was horrible.

We arrived home at 8pm Sunday Night.

All I can say is that I never want to see another hotel or airport ever again.

I won’t bore people with my adventures in Brazil (because seriously, they were somewhat boring to me as well..with the exception of me butchering the language till my mind slowly started to readjust and get used to hearing it).

Just wanted to say I’m back! It’s good to be home!
